Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Overland Park is seeking an Outpatient Coordinator to manage referrals and coordinate all outpatient services. You will serve as the lead support contact for the hospital-based and freestanding outpatient clinic, ensuring smooth scheduling and patient flow.

In this role you will collaborate with management on scheduling, hiring and performance of clerical staff, contributing to a team focused on quality patient care and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Business or Technical School training preferred; strong medical terminology required.
• More than one year experience in a medical office position or healthcare registration.

Responsibilities

• Maintains referral management and coordinates all outpatient services as Outpatient Coordinator (OP).
• Serves as lead support person for hospital-based and/or freestanding outpatient clinic.
• Makes recommendations to management regarding scheduling, hiring and performance management of clerical staff where applicable.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
