- Conduct internal coding audits and clinical quality reviews under the supervision of the Outpatient Coding Manager
- Code and abstract charts in accordance with ICD-10-CM conventions and coding guidelines
- Mentor and educate coding staff while assisting with timely resolution of departmental issues
- Optimize documentation and coding accuracy by collaborating with clinical physicians and personnel
- Maintain a productivity standard with a target accuracy rate of 98%

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience coding outpatient records
- Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) is required
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding conventions
- Familiarity with coding software and tools, including 3M and Dolbey Computer Assisted Coding applications
- Ability to maintain compliance with coding standards and regulations
