Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED General or Other / Certificate Medical Assisting
• BLS - Basic Life Support (Instructor or equivalent)
• CMA (AAMA) or RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NAHP certification(s)
• Valid GA driver's license if working in Virtual Care or Wellness on Wheels (optional)

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height/weight, medical history, and document findings in EMR.
• Assist physicians with exams; prepare exam rooms and assist during procedures.
• Perform basic diagnostic tests (EKG, ABIs, six-minute walk tests) when required.
• Collect labs and specimens; ensure proper labeling and charging.
• Maintain exam rooms and supply inventory; manage biohazard disposal and cleanliness.
