Job summary

Credentialing through the Medical Staff Services Office typically takes 60-90 days prior to the first working day.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field from an accredited university.
• Licensed in the State of California (LCSW).
• Minimum one year of clinical experience.
• Meets requirements for UCSF Medical Staff membership.
• Demonstrated ability to provide time-limited therapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, TLDP, IPT) for anxiety and mood disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide time-limited individual psychotherapy to a diverse patient panel.
• Run treatment groups as part of outpatient care.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
• Coordinate with administrative staff on referrals and credentialing processes.
