Job summary

Ghost RX seeks a registered nurse for outpatient clinic duties under a federal contract. Typical duties include patient intake, vital signs, triage, immunizations, IV therapy, and chronic disease management.

Requirements: active US RN license, IHS credentialing package, ability to pass competency tests, and willingness to complete orientation. ACLS preferred; AMB-BC a plus. Monday–Friday hours with occasional extended shifts.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required to perform services under this federal contract
• English language proficiency sufficient for patient and team communication
• Active RN license in any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
• Graduate of accredited BSN, ADN, or diploma nursing program with successful NCLEX-RN
• Minimum 1 year RN outpatient/ambulatory care experience in last 3 years
• ACLS preferred; AMB-BC a plus
• Proficiency in vitals, triage, immunizations, IV therapy, and chronic disease management
• Current BLS certification
• IHS credentialing package and license verification
• Immunizations and TB screening; privacy and safety training
• Willingness to complete orientation and clinic training
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with occasional extended hours

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, vital signs, and focused nursing assessments in outpatient clinic
• Recognize and respond to urgent changes, initiate emergency protocols, and stabilize for transfer
• Administer medications, immunizations, injections, and IV therapy
• Monitor vitals and escalate changes to clinic physician or APP
• Coordinate referrals, tests, and follow-up appointments with thorough handoffs
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, preventive care, and self-management
• Support behavioral health or substance use concerns with de-escalation and referrals
• Float to other clinics as directed by nursing leadership
• Document care in RPMS/EHR and communicate status during shift reports
• Comply with IHS/JCAHO standards, HIPAA, and safety policies
• Complete orientation and training, report to work as scheduled
