The University of South Alabama Health System is seeking an experienced RN to provide professional nursing care in outpatient clinic settings in Mobile, Alabama. You will perform nursing assessments, educate patients about medications and care plans, and assist with in-office procedures under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the care team, maintaining accurate EMR documentation, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting the minimum standard set by the state of Alabama.
• RN licensure and/or Compact State Licensure per Alabama NLC requirements.
• BCLS certification within 60 days of hire; comparable substitutions allowed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care in outpatient clinic settings.
• Conduct nursing assessments and document findings in the EMR.
• Educate patients about medications, diets, and care plans; administer meds as directed.
• Assist with wound care, IV starts, and in-office procedures within scope.
• Coordinate with care team for smooth transitions and patient safety.
