Job summary

Intermountain Health in Miles City, MT is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join a vital ambulatory care team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an outpatient setting under physician supervision, providing education and coordinating with the health team.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and clinic experience; BSN preferred. The position offers full-time hours, benefits, and a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• One year of related clinic or acute hospital nursing experience required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care in the clinic following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent, ensures confidentiality and documents health history and vital signs.
• Assesses disease condition and provides care based on guidelines and laws.
• Executes prescribed treatments and administers medications, coordinating with physicians.
• Educates patients and families about health status, maintenance, and condition management.
• Documents data using medical records systems and participates in care coordination.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Tracks quality assurance data and supports chronic care management.
• Supports lactation consultations and wound care as part of care delivery.
