Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of clinic or acute hospital nursing experience.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients per standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent and ensures confidentiality.
• Documents health history, vital signs, and health risk factors.
• Provides patient care per guidelines, standards, and laws.
• Executes treatments, administers medications, and documents progress.
• Educates patients and families about health status and management.
• Documents data using medical records systems.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve care.
• Monitors quality and outcomes in care management.
