Job summary

Benefis Health System in Great Falls, MT, seeks an experienced nurse leader to supervise clinical and non-clinical department staff and coordinate activities to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role includes developing and implementing policies, expediting workflows, and collaborating with physicians while maintaining compliance with licensing and organizational procedures. A state RN license is required, BSN preferred, with at least three years of management experience.

Qualifications

• Current State Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, business, or healthcare related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years management/supervisory experience preferred, preferably in a medical setting.
• Ability to work with physicians and staff in a collaborative manner.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of clinical and non-clinical department staff.
• Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
• Assists with development and implementation of policies and procedures for the department.
• Keeps the physician(s) informed of progress and potential problems.
• Directs and evaluates patient care delivery.
• Oversees daily operations of one or more departments as assigned.
• Demonstrates ability to handle pressure, deadlines, and changing situations.
• Ensures compliance with licensing board requirements and Benefis policies.
