Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospitals of Miamisburg is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Coordinator (OP) to manage referrals and coordinate outpatient services. The OP will serve as the lead support for hospital-based or freestanding outpatient clinics and help optimize scheduling and clerical performance.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with preferred business/technical training and at least one year in a medical office or registration function.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required; Business or Technical School training preferred; Strong medical terminology is required.
• More than one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare registration function.

Responsibilities

• Maintain referral management and coordinate all outpatient services.
• Serve as lead support person for the hospital-based and/or freestanding outpatient clinic.
• Provide scheduling, hiring and performance recommendations to management for clerical staff where applicable.
