Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking an RN to join our Outpatient Heart and Vascular Specialist team. You will provide high-level nursing care to patients in line with RN standards and policies.

Responsibilities include improving quality of care, effective communication with the team, and educating patients and families to ensure understanding of the care provided. Proficiency with EMAR and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in the state of Connecticut.
• 3–4 years of related clinical and/or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively.
• Communicates effectively with colleagues, patients and family members.
• Educate patients and family members so they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
• Understands computer-based applications (EMAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
