Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking an RN to join the Outpatient Heart and Vascular Specialist team in Hartford. This is a full-time, day-shift position focused on delivering high-quality nursing care in a collaborative setting.

You will provide clinical support, educate patients and families, and use computer-based systems (E-MAR, electronic documentation) while maintaining nursing standards and participating in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in Connecticut.
• 3–4 years of related clinical and/or ambulatory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively.
• Communicates effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members.
• Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
• Understanding of computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork
