Formación

• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or equivalent certification.
• Current Medical Assistant certification from a recognized body is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient care in outpatient cardiology.
• Validate patient identifiers and prepare patients and rooms for examinations.
• Measure and record vital signs; draw blood and collect lab samples per policy.
• Schedule appointments, answer calls, and perform data entry tasks.
• Document encounters and orders in EPIC; maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
