Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) in Tallahassee, FL, is seeking an entry-level ultrasound technologist to join our 772-bed acute care hospital. You will perform routine sonography exams on adults and children, using ultrasound equipment to locate and record diagnostic data for physicians.

Required: high school diploma and graduation from an accredited sonography program; BLS certification. New grads pursuing certification are encouraged to apply; one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and graduation from an accredited sonography program.
• No prior experien ce required.
• One year of sonography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to examine tissue and body structures.
• Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations on adult and pediatric patients.
• Includes echocardiograms, carotid ultrasounds, and related procedures.
• Schedules tests and maintains operational logs/records.
• Ensures patient care and safety during ultrasound procedures.
