Job summary

Claratel Behavioral Health seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Clifton Springs Outpatient team in DeKalb County, GA. Under supervision, you will provide professional nursing services for behavioral healthcare clients, assess conditions, develop care plans, and deliver treatment and education to clients and their families.

Qualified candidates hold a Georgia license (RN or LPN), can perform venipuncture and injections, and are comfortable using an electronic health record.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed to practice in the State of Georgia.
Must be able to perform venipuncture and medication injections.
Must possess basic computer and typing skills.
Ability to use an electronic health record.
Prior experience working with behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments and formulate care plans.
Provide direct nursing care and clinical education to clients and families.
Document results within 24 hours of service delivery.
Coordinate medical and psychiatric care with community providers.
In absence of physician/APRN, lead in emergencies per agency policies.
Maintain a clean and safe examination room and equipment.
