Job summary

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, crisis intervention, documentation, and coordination with community resources. Evening/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain IM+CANS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass required background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Develop initial comprehensive assessment data including problems, mental status, histories to determine diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Provide 25 hours of billable services per week to clients.
• Implement crisis or pre-crisis interventions and refer to psychiatry or inpatient facilities as needed.
• Interview collateral contacts and treatment professionals to inform assessments and plans.
• Clarify priorities, goals, and session limits; use psychotherapies to stabilize behaviors.
• Manage termination, discharge planning, and coordinate with support services.
• May organize and participate in group therapy for clients and families.
• Establish professional files, complete forms for billing, and share information with other providers.
• Prepare documents/reports for regulatory or child welfare agencies as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth, meetings, and mandatory education.
