Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters degree in nursing or NP program required.

• Privileging and credentialing: 7 years APP experience may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Practices within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team providing diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative healthcare management by performing a variety of medical or surgical tasks.
• Organizes and presents historical and physical data, together with evaluations and recommendations, to the healthcare team to identify a medical problem and determine procedures.
• Provides follow-up and health maintenance care to patients per accepted standards of care and best practice.
• Maintains complete and accurate records of contacts with patients in person, virtually or by telephone.
• Obtains complete medical history and performs comprehensive and focused physical examinations appropriate for patient population.
• Executes diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as indicated.
• Instructs and counsels patients with respect to health promotion and/or health maintenance.
