Job summary

Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana, is seeking an outpatient pharmacist to join our Anticoagulation Clinic. The Outpatient Pharmacist will support the development, implementation, and delivery of high‑quality pharmaceutical services in outpatient areas (community, specialty, LTC, etc.).

This part-time (.5–.74) position offers Day shifts, with starting wage DOE of $57.57–$75.56 per hour; you may be eligible for incentives and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Successful graduation from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
• Outpatient pharmacy practice experience preferred.
• Current license as a pharmacist with the Montana State Board of Pharmacy.
• Maintain good standing with the Office of Inspector General (OIG).

Responsibilities

• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values and service expectations.
• Accurately reviews and verifies prescriptions and documents clinical interventions.
• Safely prepares or supervises preparation of non-sterile compounded products.
• Controls distribution of controlled substances per regulations.
• Manages inventory including daily medication orders and shortages; resolves out-of-stocks.
• Acts as a drug information resource for healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers.
• Trains and supervises support staff and students as needed.
• Participates in process improvement to enhance patient care.
