The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a licensed therapist (LISW/LPC/LMFT) for the Addiction Sciences Division, Center for Drugs and Alcohol Program. This outpatient clinician provides individual and group therapy, working within a team in the Psychiatry department.

Responsibilities include assessing clients, developing treatment plans, coordinating care, and documenting progress with minimal supervision. Day shifts, salary-based pay, EEO employer.

Competenze

• Master's degree in a social work or social welfare program accredited by the CSWE or regionally accredited.
• Licensed professional credentials (LISW/LPC/LMFT) are favored as per specialty.
• Includes ability to conduct individual and group therapy in an outpatient setting.

• Interview clients and families to assess diagnosis, coping strategies, and treatment needs.
• Ensure adherence to treatment planning, case management, discharge planning, and referrals per agency standards.
• Plan, implement, and coordinate all treatment services with collaboration from internal and external resources.
