Job summary

Hyatt Centric Key West is hiring an On-Call Outlets Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. You will support Blue Mojito Pool Bar and Four Flamingos events, crafting handcrafted cocktails and delivering personalized guest experiences in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

This on-call role requires evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events availability. You will work with Hyatt brand standards, maintain a clean bar, manage POS transactions, and contribute to memorable

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine and spirits.
• Excellent guest service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask while staying accurate in a fast-paced setting.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience using a POS system and handling cash transactions.
• Must demonstrate responsible alcohol service practices and comply with laws.
• Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods; physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Open availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and events.
• Food handler and responsible alcohol service certifications (or ability to obtain).

Join our Food & Beverage team at Hyatt Centric Key West as an On-Call Outlets Bartender, supporting both our vibrant Blue Mojito Pool Bar and special events at Four Flamingos, A Richard Blais Key West Kitchen. This flexible position is perfect for an experienced bartender who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests.

As an Outlets Bartender, you'll prepare handcrafted cocktails, provide personalized recommendations, and deliver exceptional service while maintaining Hyatt's high standards of hospitality. Whether serving poolside guests or supporting private events and special functions, you'll play an important role in creating unforgettable moments.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and consistency.


• Deliver friendly, engaging service while building genuine connections with guests.


• Provide menu and beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.


• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.

• Support special events and banquet functions at Four Flamingos as needed.


• Follow all Hyatt brand standards, health and safety guidelines, and alcohol service regulations.


• Work collaboratively with restaurant, banquet, and hotel colleagues to ensure seamless service.

This is an on-call position with flexible scheduling based on business needs. Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system and handling cash transactions accurately.


• Must demonstrate responsible alcohol service practices and comply with all applicable laws and Hyatt standards.


• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.


• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions.


• Must have open availability to work on an on-call basis, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.


• Food Handler and responsible alcohol service certifications (or the ability to obtain them as required by state and local regulations) required.
