Job summary

Libbey's Toledo Outlet Store seeks a friendly Sales Associate to greet customers, help with selections, and drive sales in a fast-paced outlet setting.

You will stock shelves, process transactions, and participate in teamwork to deliver excellent service. Availability for Saturdays and 5-day workweeks is required; enjoy employee discounts and benefits in a lively, team-driven store atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Sales Associates will work 5 days/week, and must have availability for shifts on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by greeting them and offering assistance
• Stock shelves with company product, check in outside vendor merchandise as it arrives
• Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters, suggesting items
• Advise customers by providing information on products
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence: offering suggestions and opinions
• Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records, if applicable
• Process payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash and store or other credit cards
• Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest
• General housekeeping including cleaning the break room and employee restrooms

Requirements & Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Strong customer service skills
• Retail experience, preferred
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• General math skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers to operate office tools and sampling equipment
• Frequent speaking/listening in face-to-face and/or telephone conversations
• Occasional standing/walking in both office and factory environments
• Occasional reaching above shoulders, stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching
