Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe Rockford is seeking a personable Outlet Server to deliver exceptional service in our casino dining environment. Under the supervision of the Supervisor, you will greet guests, present menus, suggest courses and beverages, and take orders with accuracy.

You will work in a fast-paced setting, build guest relations, maintain cleanliness, and help with bussing and side duties while adhering to food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain Food Handler or Bassett certification, as required, and an Illinois Gaming license.
• Two years’ guest service experience in a family or formal dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide superior guest service at all company Food and Beverage operations.
• Present the menu to guest, suggesting courses and drinks, and answering questions regarding food preparation.
• Stock server stations with all necessary items and maintain cleanliness of all public areas and waitress stations.
• Assist bussers in setting tables, clearing dishes, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Adhere to sanitation standards and ensure guests and team members are comfortable and satisfied.

They must set priorities and simultaneously manage multiple tasks. A Server should be able to react to guest requests, challenges, and unusual situations in a skilled manner. They will have the ability to provide intuitive service ensuring VIP guests are consistently wowed. A Server will stay informed and know all Casino facilities and services, special events and local attractions. They must be able to initiate and engage in conversation in a professional and friendly manner while maintaining confidentiality.
