Bloomingdale’s Daly City location is seeking an Outlet Sales Support Team member for Serramonte. The role supports receipt and stockroom operations to drive sales and maintain stockroom standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a full-time on-site associate, you will process merchandise, manage pricing changes, and assist the selling team to deliver a positive customer experience in a dynamic store setting near Daly City, CA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Read and interpret safety rules and manuals
• Frequent use of computers with multiple devices

Responsibilities

• Support receipt and dispatch of merchandise according to company standards.
• Process merchandise to ensure items are floor ready, tagged, and ticketed.
• Complete price changes, damages/salvages, and job outs.
• Receive and record trailer deliveries.
• Maximize stockroom space and maintain organization and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe receiving/stockroom space.
• Protect company assets following procedures including access control and merchandise protection.
• Support Selling Team members to provide a positive customer experience.

Job Overview

The Receiving Team Member’s (RTM) primary objective is to drive sales and profit through efficient inbound/outbound receipt processing and excellent stockroom standards. This includes offloading, sorting, unpacking and prepping new receipts.

Essential Functions

• Support and administer receipt and dispatch of merchandise and supplies according to company standards.
• Process merchandise ensuring items are floor ready, tagged, and ticketed
• Complete price changes, damages/salvages, job outs
• Receive and record trailer delivery
• Maximize stockroom space and maintain the highest level of organization and efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe receiving and stockroom space
• Protect Company assets, adhering to all operational procedures including, Access Control, Merchandise Protection, Risk Management, Receiving & Processing and Fine Jewelry
• Support Selling Team members when needed by providing a positive customer experience

Qualifications and Competencies

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Frequent use of computers - Able to use and navigate multiple technological devices
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Physical Requirements

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision and climbing ladders
• Frequent use of computers andother technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment.
• Frequently lift/move up to 50lbs
