Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Planner, Outlet to manage strategic inventory planning for the Outlet channel, including Outlet Stores and Outlet Online.

You will own sales, MMU, and inventory plans, overseeing transfers, returns, and stock allocation to maximize turns and margins. The role partners with Buyers, Distribution, DC/Supply Chain, and brand teams to drive profitable growth and meet budgeted goals.

Qualifications

• Data-driven mindset with entrepreneurial approach.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Minimum 3–5 years in Merchandise Planning or Inventory Management; outlet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Open to Buy forecasting for Outlet sales, MMU, receipts, and EOP inventory by brand.
• Plan and manage inventory flow across all brands and transfers to achieve annual turns.
• Develop promotions, markdowns, and liquidation strategies to protect margin.
• Deliver actionable reporting on inventory position, transfers, and category performance.
• Collaborate with Buyers, Distribution, and Finance to align plans with financial goals.
