Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. in Mt. Gilead, North Carolina, is seeking an Outfeed Operator I to monitor production on conveyors, saws and stackers during a rotating night shift (7pm–7am).

You will perform root cause analysis, coordinate with control room operators to maintain stable production, and assist in planned shutdowns to maximize efficiency while ensuring raw board quality. Candidates with manufacturing experience and strong communication skills will fit well; must be able to work in varying

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Must be an effective team member.

• Confident in data analysis and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Monitors production through outfeed conveyors, saws and stackers.
• Performs root cause analysis on problems.
• Communicates with control room operators to maintain stable production.
• Assists in planning/ executing production line shutdowns to minimize downtime.
• Monitors raw board quality and takes corrective actions.
• Performs basic maintenance tasks and assists maintenance personnel.
