Job summary

Holmes Lumber (a division of Carter Lumber) is seeking a yard associate in Ohio. You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selecting and loading orders, and you’ll pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery.

You’ll help maintain yard inventory with cycle counts and keep the yard organized and clean. Equipment includes a forklift; training and certification are provided if you haven’t operated one before.

Qualifications

• Friendly personality and ability to be a team player.
• Familiarity with building materials helpful.
• Ability to work outside in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order.
• Pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered.
• Help maintain the inventory in the yard by conducting cycle counts.
• Keep the yard organized and clean.
