Carter Lumber in Easley, SC is hiring a Yard Associate to help customers, load orders, and keep the yard organized. You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selecting and loading materials and help stage items for pickup or delivery.

You’ll operate a forklift after training and have opportunities for growth within our family-owned company that values honesty, hard work, and people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• Friendly personality.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Ability to work outside in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order.
• Pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered.
• Help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts.
• Keep the Yard organized and clean.
