Wells Concrete in Ashland City, TN is seeking a Yard & Shipping Laborer to support handling, stockpiling, and loading precast products for shipment. You will assist cranes, forklifts, and rigging while maintaining safe yard practices in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn crane and shipping operations, with the ability to work outdoors and handle physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read load lists and basic documentation.
• Basic math skills and the ability to use a tape measure.
• Forklift experience preferred (training available).
• Ability to safely climb, lift, and work on elevated surfaces and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Work outside in the elements and assist with patching and repairs of precast panels.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in stockpiling and loading precast panels and products for shipment.
• Operate load chains, tie-down belts, and binders to secure shipments.
• Assist with crane operations using proper hand signals and rigging practices.
