Job summary

Carter Lumber in Ohio is seeking a motivated Yard Associate to help customers, load orders, and keep the yard organized. You\'ll pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery and help maintain inventory with routine cycle counts.

You will operate a forklift and work outdoors in all conditions on first shift. Friendly, team-focused individuals who value hard work fit well here, with growth opportunities and benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Friendly personality and ability to work with others.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• First shift position.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading of orders.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup and/or delivery and help maintain yard inventory.
• Keep the yard organized and clean; use forklift as needed.
