Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Yard Team Member to help keep our cement terminal clean, safe, and organized. You’ll perform outdoor, physical labor and support loading, unloading, and general plant operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety procedures. Training is available for motivated individuals, with opportunities to grow within a fast-growing company that serves communities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork; good communication.
• Training available for motivated individuals.
• Experience in yard work or construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep yard and plant areas clean and organized.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials.
• Support operations with manual labor as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance like cleaning and organizing.
• Monitor inventory and inform supervisor when low.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
• Take on additional duties to keep plant running.
