Job summary

AtWork Group in New Caney, TX is seeking a reliable Yard Worker to join our client’s outdoor operations. The role involves loading, unloading, organizing materials, and supporting daily yard and warehouse activities.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable with physical outdoor work, and able to lift 40–50 lbs. Prior yard or general labor experience is preferred, and punctual attendance is essential to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous yard, warehouse, construction, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift approximately 40-50 lbs. as needed.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to safety and organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the yard.
• Assist customers and team members with locating and handling materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Perform general yard cleanup, including removing debris and keeping work areas clear.
• Assist with receiving, staging, and preparing materials for shipment or pickup.
• Verify materials and products for accuracy and report damaged items when necessary.
• Safely lift, carry, push, and move materials throughout the workday.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work effectively with warehouse, shipping, receiving, and yard personnel.
• Perform additional general labor duties as assigned.
