Job summary

Eosso Brothers Paving in Freehold, NJ is seeking a hardworking Yard Laborer to support daily yard operations. You will keep the yard organized, assist with material handling, load and unload equipment, and support crews with tools and supplies in an outdoor setting.

The ideal candidate is physically capable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently. Prior yard/warehouse/construction experience, ability to lift 50–75 lbs, and forklift certification or willingness to obtain are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction environment preferred.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and perform physical work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Forklift experience and certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Organize and maintain yard inventory, keeping areas clean and hazard-free.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of yard equipment and workspaces.
• Assist mechanics or operators with fueling, greasing, or light maintenance tasks.
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, or other yard equipment (if certified/trained).
• Stage materials and equipment for outgoing crews or incoming deliveries.
• Track materials and supplies and notify supervisor of low inventory or damage.
• Follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Assist with snow removal, storm prep, or other seasonal yard duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Yard Foreman or Supervisor.
