Job summary

USIC is seeking field locators to identify and mark underground utilities across designated areas. You will work outdoors in varying weather, using company vehicles and equipment, and follow strict safety procedures.

Earn $17.00 per hour with full-time daytime hours, paid training, and a range of benefits. Opportunities for overtime, weekend/on-call shifts, and career progression are available as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to pass a drug screen and have a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Correctly locate underground utilities in designated areas and mark locations.
• Thoroughly search for utilities, document findings, and photograph each locate.
• These are daytime, full-time positions.
• We have a 48-hour turnaround time on many locates; may work after holidays and some weekends.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
