Job summary

Lewis Tree Services in Roxboro, NC is seeking a Trimmer to build foundational skills in utility vegetation management and support tree trimming and line clearing operations serving utility companies.

You will perform ground-level and aerial pruning, operate chainsaws and chippers, assist with job-site setup and safety, apply herbicides per guidelines, and drive/truck operations as required.

Responsibilities

• Ground-level and aloft pruning, felling, and vegetation removal to maintain clearance around power lines.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, and rigging equipment to fell and lower limbs.
• Assist with job-site setup, rigging, traffic control, and cleanup.
• Support safety by spotting, assisting climbers, and communicating hazards.
• Apply herbicides per company and legal guidelines.
• Drive and operate trucks and specialized equipment (certification required).
