Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for Tree Trimmer-442. Entry-level and skilled trimmers/climbers are welcome; on-the-job training is provided. If you enjoy the outdoors, this role offers a path into the line clearance industry.

Our team handles trimming, topping, and reshaping trees to clear utility powerlines. This full-time, on-the-job training position pays competitively based on experience, with benefits and opportunities across nationwide services.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Ability to obtain the knowledge to identify tree and shrub species.
• License & Certifications: Ability to obtain Driver's License or Commercial Driver’s License when required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees by climbing or from ground using chainsaws and other hand/power tools.
• Operates and services tools/equipment, plus drives trucks as assigned.
• Promotes and maintains good customer relations and safety on site.
• Loads/unloads equipment and materials, and cleans/maintains work areas.
• Assists in training new employees and may participate in raising and bar restoration tasks.
• Performs other related work as assigned by superiors.
