Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for Groundperson positions at various levels. The roles involve outdoor work cutting, trimming, and clearing vegetation around powerlines, with training provided on the job.

The team supports safety-focused line clearance for utility customers in diverse weather conditions. Typical qualifications include being at least 18, a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, and willingness to pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years-of-age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background and/or MVR check may be required upon offer.
• Driver's License Preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
