Job summary

Asplundh is hiring for the Groundperson role in our line clearance team. Entry-level and skilled applicants receive on-the-job training to build a career outdoors, trimming, topping, and reshaping trees to provide clearance for utility powerlines in all weather.

You will operate a chainsaw, drag and feed brush, and help maintain vehicles and equipment in safe working order. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with competitive wages and benefits, requiring 18+ and a high school diploma

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Services vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
