Job summary

Asplundh Careers is hiring for Groundperson roles in Colorado. The position offers entry-level and skilled opportunities with on-the-job training to build a career in line clearance.

You will work outdoors in all weather, trimming and pruning trees to clear powerlines, under a nationwide utility contractor. The job includes competitive hourly pay, and benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, EAP, and life/disability coverage.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with no experience required.
• Minimum qualification is a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Pre-screen may include background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees.
• Drag, gather, and feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Service vehicles and equipment, maintain them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
