PG&E is seeking an entry-level General Construction worker for the Energy Delivery, Gas Transmission & Distribution team in Bakersfield. The role focuses on implementing traffic control plans, sweeping sites, and supporting 911 standby duties in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

This role requires the candidate to be at least 18 years old and capable of wearing PPE.
Must possess a valid CA Class C driver license and be able to operate safely in outdoor conditions.
Ability to lead and manage small traffic control projects as part of the team.
DOT regulated role with random drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

Implements traffic control plans per California standards (CAMUTCD).
May perform sweeping and job-site clean-up.
May perform 911 Stand-by duties.
May perform excavation of underground facilities and backfilling with hand tools.
