Job summary

The City of Glenpool is looking for a Streets and Parks Laborer to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the operation and maintenance of the City's streets, parks and related facilities, while providing service to residents and visitors.

You will cut grass, trim weeds, plant flowers, repair streets and sidewalks, and assist with building maintenance. The role requires outdoor work, long hours including weekends and nights, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of operation and safety for light to heavy equipment.
• Ability to perform outdoor maintenance and basic repairs.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Cut grass and trim weeds on city property and parks.
• Dig flower beds and plant flowers with gardening tools.
• Repair streets and sidewalks with asphalt and concrete.
• Snow and ice removal during winter months.
• Maintain and repair municipal buildings' systems as needed.
