Job summary

You will support store operations with accuracy and efficiency, assisting on the floor as needed and maintaining a welcoming checkout area for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Cash handling and basic math skills required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with enthusiasm and a genuine smile.
• Provide consistent, above-and-beyond customer service throughout the shopping experience.
• Know where merchandise is located to direct customers efficiently.
• Stay familiar with products to answer basic questions.
• Understand team members’ areas of expertise to assist customers.
• Assist on the sales floor or in other departments as needed.
• Stay updated on current items and store specials.
• Process all register functions including sales, returns, exchanges, layaways, and transfers.
• Handle all forms of payment per company policies.
• Open and close the cash register with accuracy.
• Keep the Front Desk/Cash Wrap area organized and stocked.
• Answer phone calls courteously and provide store directions.
