Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician to service homeowners in Akron and North Canton, OH. You’ll work independently on a route, apply lawn treatments, and build lasting client relationships. The position includes paid training, company-paid certification, and an hourly rate starting at $16.00.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Fluency in English (spoken, read, and written).

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.
