Job summary

Georgia Tech seeks a temporary Outdoor Recreation Support Manager to provide administrative and operational support for the Outdoor Recreation program, under the Assistant Director. Responsibilities include coordinating challenge course, climbing, student-led outdoor recreation, and trip programs.

The role involves student staff management, scheduling, training, program administration, event logistics, documentation, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Up to two years of job related experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, mentor, and evaluate student employees.
• Coordinate client scheduling, participant communication, program registration, and other admin functions.
• Prepare program and facility, manage equipment, setup/breakdown, and ensure operational readiness.
• Support course facilitation, climbing operations, outdoor recreation programs, and staff training as needed.
• Develop, update, organize, and maintain program manuals, SOPs, training materials, and process documentation.
• Maintain records related to staff training, certifications, schedules, participation, and operations.
• Assist with program communications, partnerships, scheduling, logistics, assessment, and other admin needs.
• Provide responsive customer service to participants, clients, staff, and campus partners.
• Perform other duties to support Outdoor Recreation operations.
