Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a temporary Outdoor Recreation Support Manager in Atlanta to provide administrative and operational support for the Outdoor Recreation programs. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will help coordinate challenge course, climbing, student-led outdoor programs, and trips while supervising student staff and ensuring safe, organized operations.

The role emphasizes scheduling, training, documentation, and responsive customer service, with attention to program readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision, and evaluation of student employees.
• Assist with client scheduling, participant communication, program registration, and other administrative functions.
• Assist with program and facility preparation, equipment management, setup and breakdown, and operational readiness.
• Support challenge course facilitation, climbing operations, outdoor recreation programs, and staff training as needed.
• Develop, update, organize, and maintain program manuals, standard operating procedures, training materials, and other process documentation.
• Maintain accurate records related to student staff training, certifications, schedules, program participation, and operational requirements.
• Assist with program communications, partnerships, applications, scheduling, logistics, assessment, and other administrative needs.
• Provide responsive customer service to participants, clients, student staff, and campus partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of Outdoor Recreation operations.
