This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Silo Ridge Field Club, set outside of Amenia, New York.

Silo Ridge Field Club is seeking an Outdoor Pursuits Attendant to join the Outdoor Pursuits Department.

The Outdoor Pursuits Attendant will ensure that the highest level of service is offered to the members of our Club by providing personal and professional service throughout the property related to Outdoor Pursuits facilities. The role involves hands-on tasks including cleaning, restocking, and maintaining site preparedness for indoor and outdoor facilities. You will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Follow the Outdoor Pursuits Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
2. Perform duties such as stocking, cleaning, and preparing facilities for members' excursions and activities, including towel management, cleaning and organizing game and craft rooms, equipment care, trash disposal, and assisting at the pool slide as directed.
3. Attend morning briefings and staff meetings, communicate effectively with supervisors, and represent the property positively at all times.
4. Maintain adherence to company policies and stay updated on any changes.
5. Be punctual and prompt for shifts and tasks.
6. Assist in stock control and inventory management as advised by the OP Manager.

Member-Related Duties

1. Greet members and assist with towels and amenities.
2. Ensure safety and enjoyment of members and guests in outdoor and pool areas.
3. Assist members and guests with daily activities and equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in guest service; hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Additional Requirements

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a team, stay calm during busy times, and meet physical demands including lifting over 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.
