Block by Block in Austin, TX is seeking a Special Projects Ambassador to help keep public spaces clean, safe and welcoming. You’ll work outdoors, stay active and interact with community members while delivering friendly service and reporting activities through a simple app.

Expect a hands-on role with a competitive $20/hour pay rate, on-site work, and eligibility for benefits including medical insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) plan. CDL preferred but not required.

Competenze

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to stand and move continuously during an eight-hour shift.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather.
• Physically capable and active.

Mansioni

• Circulate through assigned work zones, performing cleaning as needed.
• Operate large hot water power unit to clean sidewalks, plazas, and street furniture.
• Operate large litter vacuums to collect litter and debris.
• Be a visible, friendly presence and engage with the public.
