Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Full Time Material Handler to join our outdoor dock team in Kansas City, MO. You will inspect, load, fill, and service propane cylinders and tanks for our delivery drivers and customers, playing a key role in safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1+ year of work experience (preferred) — training provided for the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and tanks.
• Fill customer cylinders at the dock (when applicable).
• Scrape and paint tanks/cylinders to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Keep the yard, plant, and office areas clean and professional in appearance.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing product/service information.
