The Beaufort Hotel in Beaufort, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Outdoor Pool Bartender for 34° North Restaurant. This part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional beverage service to hotel guests and visitors in a lively outdoor pool setting.

You will craft cocktails, pour beer and wine, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining a clean, organized bar and complying with all policies and laws. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred to support busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required.
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and liquor service.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards.
• Accept and complete drink orders from guests and servers in an organized and timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar throughout each shift.
• Complete opening and closing duties including stocking, cleaning, and securing bar areas.
• Follow all cash handling, check handling, and credit card procedures.
• Ensure all alcohol service complies with company policies and applicable laws regarding identification and responsible alcohol service.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking beer, liquor, mixers, juices, and supplies.
• Replenish ice stations, glassware, and bar products as needed.
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and team-oriented atmosphere.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of floors, trash areas, and bar equipment.
• Communicate effectively with restaurant staff and management to support smooth operations.
