Job summary

Mosquito Authority of Metro East is hiring a Mosquito & Pest Control Technician to service residential and commercial properties using Barrier 360 treatments. You will help protect customers’ homes from pests while delivering excellent service.

Training is provided, with 1–3 years of pest control experience preferred. You will drive a company vehicle, follow safety protocols, and work outdoors with occasional weekend hours to meet weekly needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 1–3 years pest control experience preferred, not required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift.
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ongoing training to meet licensing requirements.
• Operate pesticide equipment safely, including sprayers and backpacks.
• Respond to customer inquiries and communicate effectively.
• Complete job documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and work site.
• Work flexible schedules, including occasional weekends.
• Opportunity to explore wildlife control roles.
