Job summary

Mosquito Authority of Metro East is seeking a Mosquito and Pest Control Specialist to service commercial and residential properties with Barrier 360 treatments. You’ll work outdoors, use spray equipment, ladders and backpacks, and contribute to a friendly, efficient team.

We offer pathways to growth through the Authority Pro Training Program, paid training, and competitive compensation. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, with a company truck, uniforms, and a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• High School graduate / GED.
• Valid Driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• 1-3 years experience in pest control preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, carry, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate fully in training for knowledge and licensing requirements.
• Work safely per state/OSHA policies, utilizing required safety equipment.
• Use equipment including sprayers, ladders, and backpack blowers (up to 60 lbs) in heat and uneven terrain.
• Respond to customer inquiries and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Inspect for pest entry points and mosquito habitats to provide a pest-free environment.
• Complete job documentation accurately and timely.
• Work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends.
• Maintain and operate a company vehicle safely and legally.
